Wade Ivy

Wade is a VFX industry veteran for over two decades. He has contributed to 80+ feature films, numerous television series, commercials, music videos, and special exhibitions. Wade is a creative Compositor with the chops to bring any project to final. Whether it’s invisible set extensions, fantastical light effects, destroying cities, or cleaning up production disasters, Wade delivers.

With a background in Fine Art (UCLA) and Experimental Animation (CalArts), Wade initially dove into the world of VFX on a historic optical printer (the precursor to today's digital compositing techniques) before transitioning to digital compositing and going on to make invaluable contributions to many iconic projects including Elf, The Notebook, Blades of Glory, Avatar, The Hateful Eight, Star Wars: Episode VII, and Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse.

He thrives on bringing imagination to life, and collaborating in the storytelling process. While Wade’s strong sense of timing, composition and design elevate his VFX work above expectations, these skills also underpin compelling motion graphics and dynamic title sequences. His leadership shines through in his ability to guide and inspire teams, bringing out the best in his colleagues while fostering an environment of collaboration and creativity. His supervision is marked by a keen eye for detail, an unwavering commitment to achieving the director's vision, and a knack for problem-solving in real-time.
